What are the professions in Clover RPG?
Open your menu with Tab and pick Professions. Every profession starts as Novice, Lv 1/30.

| Mining | 1,508 | Uncovering ores and valuable materials. Pickaxe crafting now requires a Mining level. |
| Harvesting | 1,508 | Gathering resources. Sickle crafting requires a Harvesting level. |
| Combat | 2,263 | Levels from fighting. Needs the most XP for level 2 of all six. |
| Broom Flying | 1,886 | Broom races and flight. The profession UI shows the race in each region. |
| Crafting | 1,508 | “Crafting experience is earned by crafting items, with more difficult items yielding greater experience.” (loading tip) |
| Alchemy | 1,508 | Brewing potions. Wiping a character keeps alchemy recipes and discoveries. |
Verified in-game XP values read in-game. Descriptions combine in-game text and the official patch notes.
What do profession milestones unlock?
Click a profession to see its Milestones and Info. Mining’s first milestones, each with a reward shown next to a crystal icon (15, 15, 15 and 75):
Mining
- Lv 2 Ore Tracker: track one ore type within 500m
- Lv 3 timing zones 10% wider
- Lv 4 +5% rare ore chance
- Lv 5 Second Wind: lose 1 fewer momentum level on a miss
- Lv 27 resource respawn timers show (patch)
- A 30% double-ore passive (fixed Oct 27)
Harvesting
- Lv 27 resource respawn timers show (patch)
Broom Flying
- Lv 26 +10% race XP and rewards
- Lv 28 Speed Orbs last 15% longer
- Lv 29 +5% flight speed
Crafting
- Lv 5 / 15 / 25: crafted materials can roll stars
Alchemy
- Lv 18 Thrifty Brewer: failed brews return 50% of their ingredients

What is Locked Essence?
Locked Essence is a premium currency you earn for free. In the developer’s words, the profession system “provides a way to obtain shop items for free using Locked Essence… Items bought with Locked Essence are untradable by default.” Kill-based achievements in the Beast Index also give it.
