What are the magic rates in Clover RPG?

What does each magic do?
We are recording every spell in-game. Until then, here is what the developer’s own patch notes say about each magic:
Flame 22%
- Flame used to be the only magic whose colour tinted the Cyclone broom flames; since Oct 26 every variant colours them.
Light 22%
- The Light Grimoire Evolution spirit fights with Swords of Conviction and Blinding Rush (Nov 1 patch).
- Swords of Conviction was reworked on Oct 28: it summons three swords behind you that you launch by activating it again.
Wind 20%
- Wind’s Grimoire Evolution skill is Arrow Rain (official sneak peek, Sep 25).
- Wind Tempest Blade got a longer windup and multi-hit fixes on Oct 28.
Lightning 15%
- The Epic family Raijin gives +5% Lightning Magic Damage (seen in-game).
Shadow 15%
No spell details published yet.
Beast 5%
- Beast Rage is a Grimoire Evolution power and has been banned from the Colosseum since Nov 1.
- Time and Beast got new sound effects on Oct 26.
Time 1%
- The rarest magic at 1%.
- The Time Grimoire Evolution ultimate traps the enemy in a time bubble and gives a speed boost (Oct 27).
- Variant “Monochrome” was previewed on Oct 23 — cosmetic only.

How do you reroll your magic?
- Magic Reroll in the in-game shop: 650 Essence — “Rerolls your magic element.” At the Barrel of Essence rate that is about 156 Robux per roll.
- Starter Pack (379 Robux) includes 2 Magic Rerolls.
- Your Magic Mastery is remembered per magic, so going back to an old magic restores its mastery.
For Time (1%) you need about 69 rolls for a 50% chance and 230 for 90%. Try the reroll calculator.
New characters start with their magic suppressed; we are confirming when the first magic is granted.
Are magic variants worth rerolling?
Only for looks. The Magic Rates panel marks every magic with “* = has variants” and states “VARIANTS ARE COSMETIC”. Reroll Magic Variant costs 200 Robux. Since Oct 26 your variant colour also tints Cyclone broom flames.
What is Grimoire Evolution?
Late in your progression you can fight your grimoire’s spirit for a permanent damage bonus and an extra magic skill — Wind’s, for example, is Arrow Rain. Once unlocked, the Grimoire Ultimate is cast with C. Clearing a Grimoire Evolution trial has a 5% chance to drop a Magic Mastery Reset, and evolution powers are disabled in the Colosseum.
